Sarah & Friends Interiors is a Palo Alto-based full-service interior design firm specializing in high-end residential projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Our aesthetic is a merge between our Scandinavian and Californian roots.

We are thrilled to be growing and are therefore looking for a talented Senior Interior Designer to join our team. Ideally, you're based locally, but we are also open to a remote position for the right candidate. Background in High-End Residential Interior Design is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Developing an overall design for projects under supervision
• Drafting construction documents
• Developing design sketches, layouts, and details
• Reviewing engineering and other consultant drawings to ensure they comply with the design intention
• Researching and selecting FF&E and FF&A for projects
• Assisting design and implementation of custom furniture and millwork
• Preparing client budgets and specifications for purchases as needed
• Maintaining client FF&A budgets and specifications for purchases as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
• 6+ years of hands-on high-end residential interior design experience 
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, or equivalent experience
• Extensive knowledge of design principles, aesthetics, and space planning methodology and ability to independently drive a project from start to finish
• Know what tools to employ and how to communicate effectively over Discord, Slack, and other virtual tools
• Must be a master time manager with the keen ability to multitask without losing sight of the finer detail
• Proficient interior architecture detailing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• People person who enjoy servicing clients and being a part of a team
