Beni Rugs is looking for a Sales Coordinator - DTC + Showroom. You have a genuine interest in interior design and knowledge and experience in the industry. You have a passion for and experience in sales and customer service, and know how to create loyal customers and forge authentic relationships. You are organized, resourceful, and self-motivated.

Summary:

You will lead our DTC sales and post-purchase customer experience, while supporting our trade sales manager in NYC. You will build our network of DTC clients by creating an exceptional customer experience from sale to delivery. You will also manage post-purchase support for our customers, with the aim of creating a frictionless experience that encourages repeat business, loyalty, and promotion of the Beni brand.

Roles, Goals, and Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service experience by listening, educating and assisting customers, and by demonstrating an excellent knowledge of the Beni product range

Welcome by appointment DTC clients to Beni’s charming West Village showroom, creating an environment of hospitality that encourages conversions

Support our NYC trade sales manager with daily correspondence, client updates, creation of order estimates and quotes, and day-to-day management of our showroom space

Coordinate daily logistics of Beni NYC showroom, including sample program, inventory management, messenger services, designer requests, etc.

Create the best possible customer experience from the moment of first interaction through to delivery of rug

Develop customer loyalty through education on brand

Process and register transactions accurately and efficiently

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

You are self-motivated and passionate about working in a young company where you can make an immediate and significant impact

You love hospitality and creating customer-centric experiences and environments

You have a passion for beauty, and for the impact of well-designed spaces on our lives

You understand the power of social media and are familiar with the interior design landscape

Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience

Fluent in English. Second language a plus

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Bachelor's degree
